I absolutely love TBBT, Emily!  Another show I miss though it ran for a very long time. Watching the four dudes living their nerdy lives and failing at common things like dating girls or detaching themselves from their demanding mothers was hilarious and incredibly entertaining. Especially Sheldon with all his tics  ... he very much grew to me over the years. But the best thing that TBBT did is (at least in my opinion) that it changed the public image of nerds completely ... it made a nerd's life more accessible for non-nerdy people and showed how likable they are (well, surely not all of them but many). I as a nerd myself  think that this is a super great effect!   |

I am glad that you like it, yes: sheldon cooper is fun- I think soft kitty warm kitty is so cute!  did you ever watch young sheldon?. it's sheldon before he met the others. that's worth a watch too! here's afact that you may not know: the actor who plays sheldon is not actually a scientist or has no interest in science. he learned it all for the series the actress who plays amy though is actually a scientist |

No, I haven't watched Young Sheldon yet. But perhaps I'll give it a try, now that you reccommend it.  And again no, I didn't know that Jim Parsons (Sheldon) had to learn all the science stuff for the show. But I knew that Mayim Bialik (Amy) is a neuroscientist in real life, too. Kinda funny, isn't it? She really knew what she was talking about as Amy. Btw, I like Amy lots! She's truly the right girlfriend for Sheldon! They're both super cute. |
